In working with clients, she has noticed that not only do the root issues need to be addressed, but practical skills also need to be enhanced. As a result, she finds it helpful to focus on relational skills, emotional expression, and communication strategies. Dr. Hasting is trained in depth psychology and utilizes a psychodynamic approach that dives deep into the core of the presenting difficulties.
Dr. Hasting utilizes a whole-person approach, looking to integrate the mind, body, and soul to provide a healing experience through evidence-based practices such as EMDR, Brainspotting, TF-CBT, Sandplay (for Big Island residents only), expressive arts, dream analysis, and psychoanalytic therapies.

Dr. Hasting is licensed/registered to provide therapy in Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, South Carolina, & Texas as an LPC-S/LMHC. All counseling is via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
